STAY SAFE: TSH CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
At TSH, our complete connected community is at the heart of everything we do. It’s what makes us who we are. We’re more than a hotel, we’re a home and a family, and we care passionately about each and every one of our guests – and that starts with your safety and wellbeing. As we stand together against COVID-19, we’ve put a number of measures in place to ensure our guests and visitors remain safe, comfortable and protected. Our motto these days is ‘fun and safety first’, and our spacious communal areas are large enough to ensure people can spread out, whilst still being social.
*The TSH hotels in Dresden, Paris and The Netherlands are currently open, Vienna, Berlin and Florence will re-open shortly on the 1st of June.
Safety & hygiene measurements
Strict cleanliness and hygiene regulations have been our daily routine, and not just since COVID-19. In these challenging times, we’ve revised and strengthened them to implement an even more comprehensive, tested and certified hygiene strategy. Under the guidance of the WHO (World Health Organization) and Local Health Authorities we have put strict health and safety measures in place.
- We improved and increased the cleaning of all surfaces in our Hotel, TSH Collab and all Commons areas, using detergents approved by health authorities.
- An informative campaign around COVID-19 prevention has been implemented, and our measures have been made available for all guests, posted via signs in all public areas and elevators.
- Each and every member of staff has been trained in workplace health and safety too, specifically on how to handle guests reporting COVID-19 symptoms, and how to apply measures in order to prevent any spread.
- A 'community concierge' has been appointed at each location, who makes sure you have the best time in our communal spaces without losing sight of the corona protocol and making sure everybody is keeping 1.5 meters distance.
Students can stay in one of our single occupancy rooms with a private bathroom, which includes the use of key-card only floors, 24/7 security and access to common study spaces. Each room will have monthly cleaning, fresh towels and linen, fully-equipped kitchens and free use of the TSH laundry room. To keep studying safe, we've created quiet study areas throughout the hotel that have been divided and arranged in-line with COVID-19 protocol. In case of any emergencies, we've assigned additional rooms for anyone required to self-isolate and we appointed a well-being professional to offer any support and guidance whenever needed.
From June 1st all Commons restaurants will open, and you can check out our menu, as well as opening hours per location, on The Commons website. Don't forget to stop by to try our famous burgers, delicious pizzas, or an exotic cocktail, and if you’d prefer to eat elsewhere, we offer a pick-up and takeaway service too, including an on-the-go breakfast bag you can collect between 7am-10am. Don't forget to secure your spot in the restaurant by making a reservation via our website. *The Commons in Vienna & The Hague remain closed until further notice.
